**Job Summary**:
St. Norbert Personal Care Home, a 91 resident long term care facility located in the South end of the City, is seeking a housekeeper for a 0.8 EFT permanent position. Hours of work are 7am - 3pm. Must be able to read and communicate in English fluently.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Housekeeping staff mop and wash floors, dust, disinfect resident rooms, washrooms and common areas. Strict policies are to be followed and staff members must be knowledgeable on chemicals they use.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Grade 10 education or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is preferred as well as fluency in English. Must be in excellent physical and mental health to meet the demands of the duties. Prior experience in a health care setting would be considered an asset.

**Compensation and Benefits**:
Compensation and benefits will be as provided in the MGEU Collective Agreement for the facility.
