Rigger / Swamper / Laborer

**Role Overview**

Assist operators and other crew members with a variety of manual labor-related tasks, including the set-up and pull-down of rigging and equipment, housekeeping and shop help.

Applicants must be able to work in and perform the following:

- Working outside in heat or cold
- Working in the vicinity of, or operation of, heavy equipment
- Working around controlled products (chemicals, grease, fuels, etc.)
- Ability to climb (vertical ladders, stairs, into equipment, others)
- Work at heights
- Strength, stamina, and ability to lift/pull heavy items such as outrigger pads, (over 25kg) using proper lifting techniques
- Shoveling / sweeping
- Operating hand and power tools

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in assembling, setting up and rigging the crane properly with booms, extensions, and hook blocks. Moving outrigger pads
- Assist in performing routine inspection and assist the mechanic as required
- Assist with all duties as requested
- General clean up of the yard, shop and on-site where required
- Assist mechanic performing general maintenance
- Hot-shots, where required
- Stocking of yard, shop and inventory
- Uphold HSE regulations and be aware of any site conditions that could affect the crane operation

**Safety Requirements**
- Acceptable Diver’s Abstract
- Adhere to all company, and where applicable, client safe work rules and procedures at all times

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 - 60 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
