**Railway Conductor **located in Saint John, NB.

**Qualifications**:

- Years of Experience Required:

- 2-5 years experience in the workforce
- Must be willing to train for this position
- Must be flexible for shift work (includes nights, weekends & holidays)
- Must be able to stay overnight in McAdam
- Must be able to work effectively outdoors in this physically demanding position
- Possess a commitment to customer service, productivity, teamwork and safety
- Successful completion of the following is required:

- Classroom Rules training (CROR - “A” Card)
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
- Workplace Standard First Aid & CPR
- Railway Medical Assessment
- On-the-job training

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Receive work instructions from RTC/Planners
- Plan and coordinate the switching of cars
- Safe and efficient use of hand brakes / air hoses in coupling and switching rail cars
- Brake Tests as required by regulations
- Communication by radio to Locomotive Engineer and RTC/Planners
- Strict compliance with all regulatory and company procedures and policies
- Working outdoors in all weather elements 24/7
- Must be open to working nights, weekends and holidays
