Two-shift operation of Days and Afternoons on a biweekly rotation

**Salary: $38.52 - $41.80 per hour**

**$6000.00 Sign On Bonus**

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Performs some preventive maintenance on plastic injection moulds including disassembly, cleaning, inspection for damage or wear, repair and re-assembly
- Fabricate and re establishes mould inserts, mould components, fixtures and other tooling using milling, turning, surface grinding, CNC sinker EDM and CNC milling machines
- Utilizes CAD/CAM software (Mastercam) to analyze, program and run CNC equipment
- Supports production with emergency repairs
- Performs flash repair and other scheduled repairs including engineering changes to plastic injection moulds
- Inspects new tooling and identifies fit and function issues before tooling enters mass production
- Complies with all safety requirements and instructions
- Maintains good housekeeping of shop, workspace and tools

**Qualifications**
- Licensed Mould Maker (431A)
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in mould making as a journeyman
- Must be able to operate all common tool room machinery and CNC machinery in a safe and productive manner
- Must be able to operate CAD/CAM system and program CNC equipment
- Must be able to provide technical knowledge/advise on mould repairs and be able to execute them
- Must be able to repair flash issues including root cause analysis and reoccurrence prevention
- Must possess good TIG Welding abilities including non ferrous metals

**Salary**: $38.00-$42.00 per hour
