Remote: Hybrid. 10% in-office and 90% remote. Offices are in Montreal, Ottawa or Toronto.

Introduction:
CTC is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team as we prepare our response to a crucial RFP. This role is essential for ensuring the optimal configuration, management, and operation of database systems which are fundamental to the success of our proposed solutions. If you have a solid background in database architecture and are adept at navigating complex IT environments, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the installation, configuration, and testing of database systems, ensuring adherence to best practices and project specifications.
- Manage database deployment environments, including documentation and operational maintenance.
- Support the development, implementation, and operation of software solutions, focusing on both high-availability and standard environments.
- Maintain continuous performance, integrity, and reliability of databases, ensuring systems are optimized for operations.
- Stay informed about current market trends and advances in IT systems and technology, particularly in database management and cloud computing.
- Provide technical support for database environments, including troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise.

**Requirements**:

- A diploma of college studies in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in database architecture, installation, configuration, and deployment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server database management systems.
- Experience with cloud computing environments is considered a strong asset.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage projects independently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to work on complex projects in a dynamic environment.
