This position will primarily be responsible for performing a variety of work tasks in order to assist with the completion of various landscape construction projects. This person will be expected to operate various pieces of equipment as well as use a variety of tools used in landscape construction. This position will require daily physical labour.

**Job Duties**
- Conduct all activities in a safe and professional manner while displaying a positive attitude
- Attend all in house required training
- Assist in the preparation of jobsites prior to and the clean up during and upon completion of work
- Ability to operation various tools and equipment including saws, tampers, laser levels, measuring equipment, shovels, drills and other related landscape construction equipment
- Assist in the construction of walkways, patios, retaining walls stairs, fences, decks, posts and the pouring of concrete as required
- Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment including inspection for damage and daily lubrication and cleaning
- Load and unload materials, tools and equipment required for each project
- Safely transport tools, materials and equipment including shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, carts and skids to and from various landscape projects
- Assist Construction foreperson on all job related tasks including cleanup, lifting, loading and carrying materials tools and supplies
- Comply with all company and Ministry policies and health and safety laws and regulations

**Key Requirements**
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or 22 kg on a daily basis
- Possess a valid G license with clean abstract, DZ license and asset
- Ability to operate landscape construction related tools safety
- Knowledge of various construction materials, tools, equipment and best operational practices
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Must be physically capable of walking, standing or bending for long periods of time
- Must be punctual and dependable and work well in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work outside in the elements
- Must adhere to health and safety requirements including the wearing of all required Personal Protective Equipment
- Must have own transportation or be able to meet at the Hybrid head office in Alliston

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
