**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker/Millwork Installer with a minimum of 5 years experience to join our growing team. Located in a great location for anyone living around the city of Ottawa.

**Responsibilities**:

- Construct and assemble cabinets according to specifications
- Work with substrates and laminates
- Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials
- Repair and restore existing cabinets in the remodeling and restoration industry
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to guide cabinet construction
- Install cabinets in commercial and residential settings
- Caulk and seal cabinets to ensure a finished appearance

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker and Millwork Installer or a similar role in the construction industry
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment common to cabinet making such as saws, drills, sanders, etc.
- Knowledge of different types of wood and their characteristics
- Experience working with substrates and laminates
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements and craftsmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues during construction
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy materials

Ability to relocate/commute to:

- Ottawa, ON K1R 6K7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Pay: $16.55-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
