What You Will Get To Do
Reporting to the Supervisor of Aquatic Services, the Aquatic Program Coordinator is responsible for:
- ensuring safe and enjoyable aquatic environments for staff and customers;- developing, implementing, leading and administering, aquatic programs, services, and events;- responsible for guidance and coaching of part-time staff;- assists with staff training and development, scheduling and payroll;- assist in the development of new programs, program schedules, operating procedures and practices;- maintaining program details and monitoring of program registration as well as report generation in recreation software system (ACTIVE Net);- providing customer service support to participants and facility users including activity enrolment, waitlist management, revenue collection and general information;- responding to customer questions/concerns and taking appropriate action on customer feedback;- develop and maintain professional working relationships with partner organizations;- oversight of multiple program locations ensuring space and equipment are in working order and supplies and resources are available;- providing deck coverage for Pool Coordinators and/or Instructor/Guards as necessary; and- other projects/duties as may be assigned.
