Qualifications:
**Essential**:

- Post-secondary degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, or a related discipline, with related work experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- High level of political acumen to navigate sensitive and confidential issues with tact and diplomacy.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong written communication skills in French, including experience writing a variety of documents and reports for different audiences.

- Strong verbal communication skills in French with the ability to effectively communicate with various audiences to present information formally and informally.

- Knowledge of Manitoba’s Francophone community and the objectives of The Francophone Community Enhancement and Support Act, the French-Language Services Policy and the Active Offer concept.

**Desired**:

- Experience working with Manitoba’s Francophone community and/or official language minority communities.
- Presentation and facilitation skills.

**Duties**:
The incumbent is primarily responsible for French Language Services (FLS) within the public body. The incumbent supports the continuous improvement of programs and their responsiveness to Francophone community needs by assisting with issue management, information coordination and policy development.
