Cofina, Services Conseils en TI is seeking a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Consultant for one of its clients for a valuable 7-month term (renewable).

The Risk and Compliance Consultant plays a key role in analyzing and implementing regulations in the finance and insurance sectors. Their goal is to ensure that the network of branches serving clients adheres to standards and remains compliant with legal requirements.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
:

- Conduct an in-depth analysis of applicable regulations in the financial and insurance sectors.
- Study the current situation to identify compliance gaps and associated risks.
- Develop and recommend monitoring mechanisms to effectively oversee company practices.
- Plan regulatory monitoring activities and establish quality review procedures.
- Support teams in implementing the necessary compliance processes.
- Issue appropriate recommendations to strengthen risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Assess and anticipate compliance risks in order to propose proactive solutions.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
:

- Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline
- Excellent knowledge of financial and insurance standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills for risk assessment.
- Ability to develop effective monitoring and compliance processes.
- Communication and consulting skills to support teams.
- Rigor and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve compliance issues.

**LANGUAGE**:

- Bilingualism in French and English required to interact with different partners.
