**Compensation & Hours**:

- The rate of pay will be $26-$38/hr. depending on experience

**Position Summary**:

- Welding and fabricating products and components using manual or semi-automatic welding processes such as GMAW, FCAW, MCAW, Spool Gun, Acetylene Equipment (others less common GTAW, SMAW, CAC-A Arc Gouging)
- Operate welder, band saw, iron worker, acetylene cutting table, roller, angle grinders and other power/pneumatic metal fabrication tools
- Read and interpret blueprints, designs and drawings
- Lining up specific metal components using calipers, rulers, and clamps to fabricate products in proper sequence of operations
- Fit and weld components with close tolerances and high quality
- Operate crane hoist, skid steer and forklift
- Maintains a safe and clean workstation
- Follow safe work practices and procedures; identify issues and hazards

**Required Qualifications**:

- 2nd or 3rd year apprentice or a journeyman ticket
- Fitting and welding experience
- A deep knowledge of welding techniques
- Wire feed welding
- Valid drivers license
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail, quality, accuracy, and safety
- Ability to read and understand technical documents, safety rules, blueprints, manuals, and documents referring to metallurgy
- Solid verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
- Must own basic personal protective equipment (i.e. steel toed boots)
- Pipeline welders need not apply

**Bonus Points For**:

- Background in agriculture
- SMAW, GTAW welding experience
- Ability to weld stainless steel and aluminum
- Hydraulics experience (welding on rod ends, barrels, solid line repair)
- Mechanically inclined

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.00-$38.00 per hour
