You will be responsible for:
- Set and manage monthly and annual sales goals, gross profit targets, and key expenses.
- Recruit, train, and motivate the sales team while monitoring performance.
- Develop and manage the annual sales budget and forecast.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and dealership policies.
- Oversee daily department operations, including scheduling and staffing.
- Assist sales staff in setting and achieving realistic monthly targets.
- Implement and monitor follow-up systems for potential buyers and past customers to boost retention.
- Manage vehicle inventory, analyzing customer demand, market trends, and dealership sales history.
- Process sales commissions and oversee payroll records.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and training sessions.
- Ensure sales staff maintain high product knowledge standards.
- Drive customer satisfaction efforts and uphold the dealership’s reputation.
- Support the sales team in closing deals to maximize success.
- Ensure new and used vehicle sales and F&I targets are met.
- Manage unsold leads, including internet inquiries, walk-ins, and follow-ups.
- Promote a culture of customer appointments and active engagement on the sales floor.
- Oversee inventory management, ordering, and used vehicle purchases. Address aging inventory, ensuring exit strategies for pre-owned units approaching 65 days.
- Monitor reconditioning times and vendor performance.
- Ensure CITs and receivables are reviewed and managed.
- Enforce deal desking processes and best practices.
- Lead daily Save-a-Deal meetings to maximize closing opportunities.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven Sales Leadership with minimum 5 years of experience as an automotive sales manager
- Track Record of Success and has consistently exceeding sales quotas and customer retention goals
- Strong Communication Skills and has ability to engage, motivate, and guide a high-performing sales team
- Industry Knowledge with expertise in automotive sales, inventory control, and customer relationship management
- Commitment to Excellence with passion for continuous learning, professional development, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
