Dz Driver

**STARTING RATE - $24**

We are seeking reliable, hardworking individuals that will be responsible to safely transport our products and freight, in our company 5 Ton vehicles, to various facilities in and around the GTA, Ontario and Ottawa/Montreal. On-site set up and dismantle of these products, either with a crew or for smaller events, on your own. Your weekly schedule will include **days, evenings and weekends**.

PLEASE NOTE - Our **Insurance Company requires that you are at least 25 years of age. You must also provide a letter from previous employer(s) confirming 3 years previous 5 ton driving experience along with their insurance provider.**

We are also looking for those with an excellent work history indicating several years with the same company.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Driving Company Vehicles including Cube Vans & 5-Ton Trucks
- Comply with all safety rules and procedures, and Ministry of Transportation laws
- Loading and unloading products
- Responsible for ensuring load is safe and secure & meets all expected standards
- Hands On - Set up and Tear down of events
- Lifting and moving products within the warehouse and on site by hand and with equipment
- Ensuring all products required, including any ancillary products for event, are loaded on the truck
- Product preparation for shows including cleaning, wrapping and labeling products
- Cleaning, Installation and removal of carpet
- Checking products before installations to ensure excellent condition
- On Dismantle - counting and checking all products to ensure no damage
- Reporting, separating and labeling any damaged or missing products prior to sign off from event manager
- Respond quickly to all communication from customers and management
- Assist in warehouse with other duties as required

**Qualifications/Skills**
- Documented three years experience driving DZ 5-Ton Trucks
- Valid Class DZ Driver License with Clean Abstract
- Previous work experience leading other staff would be an asset
- Strong knowledge of the GTA and Ontario
- Able to drive to Ottawa/Montreal
- MUST be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Exceptional attention to detail in completion of all paperwork
- Team player--immediately identifying next job and/or how to assist other team members
- Able to work independently and in a team to complete tasks
- Professional appearance and courteous always
- Ability to lift and move products with weight of up to 50 lbs.
- Trouble shoot, quickly, effectively and efficiently
- Good common-sense problem-solving ability

- Proficient in English in both verbal and written communication

- Must be eligible to Work in Canada without restrictions
