**Job Description***

We are seeking talented technical consultants in the fields of systems engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and software engineering/development. Consultants must have a suitable combination of education and experience in their given field.

The primary job responsibility for the R&D Consultant is to prepare Scientific Research and Experimental Development technical reports. This role includes:

- Evaluation of client projects and activities in relation to the Scientific Research and Experimental Development tax incentive program;
- Collect and prepare technical substantiation of the SR&ED claim;
- Prepare the required technical reports

Working closely with our client personnel, our R&D consultants must be self motivated individuals with a professional and friendly approach, and be excellent written and verbal communicators.

**Requirements**:
The R&D Consultant should have the following qualifications:
Must have a minimum of five year’s relevant industry experience and a university degree in one of the specified areas of expertise
Understand engineering documentation, and communicate effectively with engineers, scientists and technical staff.
Minimum of 2 years experience in SR&ED claims preparation
Experience in technical and scientific writing and communication
Familiarity with major industrial production processes
Project Management experience an asset
Possess above average written and spoken English

**Position**: Contractual
**Remuneration**: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
