_Syndicate Transport is an asset based, full truck load carrier providing service throughout Western Canada. We are headquartered just outside of Calgary in Rocky View County. Operations including dispatch and customer service are maintained 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at both Calgary and Edmonton branches. A specialist in the grocery and retail industries, we offer a full range of services including Tractor/Trailer (dry, reefer, tri-axle, multi-temp), Long Combination Vehicle (LCV), tractor only, and shunting; all with late model equipment._

**Primary duties include**:

- Oversee and coordinate the responsibilities of shunt truck drivers
- Daily Yard checks
- Inspecting trailer and related paperwork
- Communicating with customer(s)
- Finding trailers & updating locations
- Keeping track of maintenance data for shunt trucks and coordinating with the shop
- Coordination and administration of shunting services within multiple distribution centres
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
- Proactively manage performance including efficiency against established benchmarks
- Customer and management reporting as required

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 5 License and a Vehicle
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to maintain multiple priorities under pressure
- A positive demeanor and ability to relate and support both customers and drivers
