Cashier - Overnight

**Overnight Cashier Job description**

We are looking for efficient, courteous **Overnight Cashiers **with superb customer service and excellent work ethics to join us at Petro Canada on Hwy 28 next to Casino Dene.

**Cashier Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming customers, responding to questions or concerns
- Operating scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics.
- Balancing cash register and generating reports for sales.
- Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving receipts.
- Following store procedures concerning Petro Points, coupons, gift cards, lottery, cigarettes and fuel (including Alberta Indian Tax Exemption)
- Verifying age of customers when selling lottery tickets and tobacco products..
- Maintaining clean workstation including cleaning/sanitizing the public restrooms, windows, countertops, and sweeping/mopping floors.
- Stocking/re-stocking shelves and coolers, dusting & facing
- Wearing proper P.P.E, uniform and name tag
- Complete incident reporting when necessary
- Complete checklist and other related duties/activities as required
- Complete necessary training in a timely manner

**Cashier Requirements**:

- Customer service or Cashier experience preferred, but training can be provided
- Friendly and positive, with strong customer service skills
- Ability to walk, stand for long periods of time, lift/push/pull heavy items, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Capable of working flexible schedule (i.e. days, nights, weekends and holidays)

**Salary**: From $18.00 per hour

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Night shift

Work Location: In person
