**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the VP, Referred Sales, Eastern Canada, the RVP, Referred Sales, Central Canada is part of the Bank's Sales Management team. This role is responsible for ensuring that company standards are achieved and maintained with targeted emphasis on continuous improvement, providing support and structure to our BDM Sales Team.
It is critical that the RVP, Referred Sales, Central Canada is a skilled communicator who is able to convey information, ideas and policy to all levels. The RVP, Referred Sales, Central Canada has a collaborative relationship with the Bank’s sales Team and ensures healthy and effective relationships are fostered.
**Major Elements of the Role**:
The RVP, Refereed Sales, Central Canada is responsible for the on-going sales support of the Central Sales Team. This position plays an important role within the Bank because it requires an understanding of the mortgage product and the Bank’s business process and translates that to coach and assist our Business Development Managers in the field and RIS function.
**Specific elements of the job include**:
- Support BDM’s to help them to grow revenue targets, build business opportunities and equip all BDM’s to drive business targets.
- Manage efficient work flow and timely closing of files by RIS team. Support RIS where necessary to fund files expediently.
- Identify opportunities for sales support to streamline entire sales process along with measuring activities results.
- Ensure BDM’s meet weekly partner visit targets and ensure requisite Salesforce data updates are completely accurately and in a timely manner.
- Analyze weekly Salesforce activity reports to identify and fill gaps in activity management and reporting requirements. Ensure optimum territory coverage which includes a balance between Bank, Mortgage Broker Direct and other referral sources.
- Identify training gaps to ensure BDM’s and RIS are fully trained.
- Onboard and train new BDM’s and RIS’s
- Work with VP, Referred Sales, Eastern Canada to prepare and execute detailed presentations, tactics, metrics, systems and action plans.
- Derive sales metrics from HomeEquity Bank’s Salesforce system, create reports and communicate information to RVP and BDM team on a weekly basis.
- Publish monthly sales results and leaderboards.
**Skills and Experience Required**:
- A University Degree or College Diploma
- Proven sales experience and outstanding personal customer service standard
- Previous experience in Financial Services and knowledge of residential mortgages
- Strong people management skills

- Well organized and effective time management
