This position has a starting salary of $18.00, after 3 months we offer 19.00 per hour after a 90 -day review and exceptional benefits. At one year 20.00 per hour with our annual cost of loving increases coming into effect.

Summary:
Packaging Operator & Warehouse Assistant. is within our warehouse environment, is responsible for packing and managing all incoming and outgoing orders. Management of the online ordering system, shipment of products, pick up's, order accuracy and safe delivery, packaging, and department. Documentation preparation, creation, and organization. Customs requirements as needed, client communication, rate sourcing, and collaboration with the Order filler, Receivers & Import / Export team and must collaborate frequently with all teams and clients.

- 3 - 5 years of related working experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting
- Previous experience delegating tasks in customer service, administration and warehouse setting is an asset.
- Forklift certification required.

- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. regularly throughout a shift.
- Organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Able to maintain a positive and professional tone with team members and management.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Promote a safe work environment by adhering to safety rules and regulations; modeling practices amongst the Production and Warehouse department.
- High sense of urgency and attention to detail
- WHMIS Certification or knowledge of an asset
- Provide direction to the Packaging Department to ensure job orders are accurately processed daily, as per departmental goals, minimizing backorders, errors, damages, costs, and complaints.
- Package, monitor, and manage all orders and shipments.
- Follow procedures for upholding company and customer delivery commitments.Coordinate with various in-house departments, including the Customer Service, Production and
- Import/Export teams to ensure order accuracy, efficient, clean, and safe working environment and organization of all orders online and within the warehouse facility.
- Oversee all outgoing shipping activity to ensure completeness and QC upheld for shipments.
- Help manage and inventory, How To Instructions, packaging supplies, and required items for department.
- Direct delivery trucks and assist drivers with loading/unloading of goods when required.
- Understand product, develop the best systematic and productive procedures for packaging stations, supplies, quick-ship products, and supply-chain management.
- Promote a safe work environment by adhering to safety rules and regulations, modeling practices amongst the Shipping and Warehouse department.
- Miscellaneous duties and projects as required.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
