**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes.
- Ensure all food safety and handling guidelines are strictly followed to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Decorate cakes and pastries with attention to detail, creating visually appealing products that meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage inventory and ensure the availability of ingredients for daily baking needs.
- Maintain cleanliness in the baking area, including equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers when necessary and addressing any inquiries regarding baked goods.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new baking techniques to continuously enhance product offerings.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Baker or in a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Experience in cake decorating is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with various baking techniques and equipment used in the kitchen.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in product presentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in customer service is an asset.
