Refer to the "How to apply" section if you require a disability-related accommodation. **What can I expect to do in this role?**: **Health Equity French Language Services at the Ministry of Health** The team provides strategic advice, guidance and support to the ministry with regards to the requirements of the French Language Services Act, French language services-related obligations and performance measures, as well as issues or initiatives with implications for the French-speaking community in Ontario. The team works in partnership with the Ministry of Francophone Affairs, assists the ministry in its relationship with the Office of the French Language Services Commissioner, and serves as the secretariat for the French Language Health Services Advisory Council. As the **Manager, Health Equity, French Language Services**, you will: - work with ministry, cross-government, health sector and community partners on key health sector priorities and needs of the Francophone community. - motivate, coach, mentor and manage of team of professional staff, while supporting and promoting a productive, diverse and inclusive work environment. - provide strategic leadership and guidance to a team of Policy and Program Analysts. - provide expert advice and support to clients in the planning and delivery of FLS policies, programs, guidelines and services. - participate in the development of corporate initiatives and legislation, ensuring that the needs of Francophones are incorporated. - develop and implement innovative and creative approaches to delivering services and products. - support the development, implementation and monitoring of performance measurement plans. **How do I qualify?**: **Mandatory**: - You must possess oral and written French language skills at the superior level.
