Marquis Gardens Banquet & Convention Center is looking to hire hard working individuals for the dishwasher position. The position varies between both part-time and full
- time.
**Duties & Responsibilities**
Empty all garbage’s throughout the kitchen and dish area.
Check main entrance garbage and walk around building checking for any blowing debris
Clean and prepare dish washing area
Complete any “special requests” the kitchen supervisor may require
As servers are placing dishes on station, clear quickly
Pre-spray all dishes, glasses, cutlery front & back and scrape all dishes before they are put into the machine
Once dishes are clean, return them to designated areas
Clean off all counter tops accordingly.
Sweep kitchen, hallways, stairs and then mop.
Ensure all dishes are washed and put in their designated areas
Empty all garbage’s and clean out any garbage containers required with bleach
Report to the Manager on Duty and Chef on Duty for any additional tasks and duties
Ability to work at all 3 of our locations
- Ancaster, Burlington& Hamilton (All accessible by bus).
Work varies between evenings & weekends.
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: $15.50-$17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Night shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ancaster, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Work Location: One location
