**Job Title**: Heavy Duty Cleaner
**Location**: 290 Bremner Blvd, Toronto, ON
**Wage**: $17.30/hour

**Shift**: Full Time, Permanent
Thursday to Monday - 7:00am to 3:00pm
- Hours may vary based on statutory holidays and adjustments to mall hours.

**About the Role**:
We’re looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space at one of our newest sites This is an opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service - keeping our communities safe & sanitized.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Disinfecting all high touch point areas
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming
- Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc.
- Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis
- Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and window sills, door glass
- Scrubbing, mopping, heavy sweeping, cleaning of light fixtures and replacing bulbs, and general maintenance duties confined under the Janitorial Industry
- Additional tasks assigned by Manager

**You have**:

- Motivation and a willingness to work and learn
- Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift
- Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with mínimal supervision
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine
- Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset
- Cleaning experience is considered an asset, but not required
- Must be able to pass a background check
