Advanced Medical Solutions Inc. (AMS) has openings for **Casual Advanced Care Paramedics** for Remote Industrial & Mining Projects in Northwest Territories & Nunavut. These projects require your talents to work in a remote clinical setting.

We have an Abundance of Projects on the horizon and have a 3 week rotation available in April at one of our large clinics, April 12-May 4th at site in Nunavut, then will have first look at other opportunities on our seasonal projects starting in June/July/August.

**Advanced Care Paramedic Job Responsibilities**:

- Provide injured workers with immediate and professional on-site medical care and advise and/or arrange timely transport for additional medical care when required
- Conduct first aid /AED training as required (applies to qualified first aid instructors)
- Conduct routine inspections and reports for the work site, MTC, and other emergency response equipment
- Assist/participate in ERT training exercises
- Conduct site orientation training as required (training will be provided)
- Conduct health and safety training (focus on health) as required
- Always act in a manner that ensures the patient's dignity, safety, privacy and confidentiality
- Perform health and safety data base entry, as required
- Assist with the Security checks where required

**Advanced Care Paramedics Requirements**:

- Advanced Care Paramedic License - valid & in good standing
- HCP CPR Provider or BLS
- WHMIS
- Class 4 Driver’s License may be required for some projects
- Drivers Abstract - in good standing
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check (within 90 days)
- Current Medical & Immunization Record (must be fully vaccinated)
