**Position Summary**:
The Video Editor / Motion Graphics Artist will be involved in the editing, design and animation of visually stimulating, yet informative motion graphics and videos.
This is a full-time, permanent position which requires strong organizational, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced and high-volume environment delivering high quality results according to the A Plus Creative brand.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Edit mix of live-action footage, 2D animated graphics, and stock footage using Premiere Pro
- Design 2D vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator and animate in After Effects
- Complete text animations following A Plus Creative brand guidelines
- Take briefs from storyboarding to completion and take responsibility for flawless design output
- Complete image and footage sourcing and drive delivery of work within tight deadlines and ensure highest standard of quality
- Collaborate with motion design team to create compelling motion graphics and videos
- Other duties as assigned by creative management team
**Requirements and Skills**:
- 5+ years of motion design experience, ideally working within an agency/studio environment
- Diploma or Graduate education in motion design from an accredited institution
- Experience with After Effects and Adobe Suite
- 3D experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of animation / video creation process, from storyboards to rendering
- Well-versed in working in an agency context and have relevant experience covering brand, direct, and above the line creative work
- Detail-oriented and organized team player
- Clear communication skills in articulating design concepts and rationales
- Positive attitude with desire to grow within a collaborative, inspiring, and team-oriented environment
- Intermediate knowledge of Mac OSX environment, finder, images, folders
