**Duties**:

- Estimating the cost of small to large scale projects
- Monitoring and executing projects efficiently and effectively including going to job sites
- Procures costs and ensures materials, equipment and labor are utilized most efficiently and effectively
- Manage the permit and inspection process and attending and conducting progress meetings
- Maintain daily paperwork, extra work orders, change orders and keep the owner updated on important issues
- Meeting with management for status updates and insights

**Position Requirements**:

- **1 year of experience required in estimating and project managing**:

- **Civil engineer education preferred**:

- **Must be willing to work on-site**:

- Must be organized
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Must be willing to commute to work
- Must be willing to work safely in a team environment
- Must be willing to learn

**Other Requirements**:

- Is committed to doing quality work the first time with little or no need for re-work
- Is deadline driven, punctual and respects other people’s time
- Proficient knowledge of WorkSafeBC standards and policies
- A valid BC driver’s license (class 5)
- First Aid would be an asset

**Salary**: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abbotsford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

- Construction estimating: 1 year (preferred)
- Construction: 1 year (preferred)
