**Summary**

Mancor Industries is a world class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that use metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly and paint. We use state-of-the-art machining and fabrication techniques in a lean, self-directed work team manufacturing environment to produce high value-added, cost-effective products for our strategic partners.

We are looking for a Shipping and receiving Supervisor to work in the Materials Department. Reporting to the Materials Manager. This position plays a crucial role in the company, making sure the finished products are shipped on time ensuring accuracy.

**Responsibilities**:
The Shipping and Receiving Lead is responsible for overseeing all aspects of incoming and outgoing shipments by performing the following duties:

- Organizes and schedules all incoming deliveries and outgoing pick-ups of product, finished goods, supplies, and materials using the most economical and efficient shipping methods
- Confirms all outgoing shipments are properly and appropriately packaged per company/customer requirements to ensure safe and accurate delivery
- Prepares bills of lading; confirming items to be shipped against work orders to ascertain and confirm accuracy of quantity, destination, and routing
- Receives and unloads incoming materials, verifying information on packing slip with purchase orders
- Organizes and schedules return shipments from suppliers, vendors, and customers
- Completes inventory of items received by performing manual counts, physical sorts, preparation of labels, and unpacking of items as necessary
- Inspects incoming and outgoing shipments for damages or defects; recording discrepancies or defects and notifying appropriate management
- Delivers items to requisitioning departments per proper procedure/policy
- Tracks incoming/outgoing shipments for customers as needed; communicate known delays to appropriate management
- Maintain professionalism and courtesy when communicating with customers, suppliers, and vendors
- Maintain ONRAMP database and shipping/receiving records; preparing routine reports as requested
- Responsible for maintaining communication of shipping/receiving activities as needed; includes attendance of meetings as required
- May operate dolly, pallet jack, forklift and other heavy equipment/machinery to load/unload supplies and equipment
- Will lead, guide, mentor, supervise, and train employees performing related work, including forklift operators and other shipping/receiving associates
- Maintains inventory of shipping/delivery materials and supplies
- Inspect shipping/receiving area for unsafe conditions and potential hazards; implement countermeasures and corrective actions to resolve
- Expected to know and abide by the Quality policy and relevant quality objectives as well as understanding the importance of QMS, its improvements, principles and implications if not followed as directed
- Understand and follow customer requirements and process for non-conforming parts
- Lead by example in following company policies, procedures, and expected standards of quality, safe working environment, continuous improvement, and supporting the organization’s mission, vision, and values
- May perform other duties as assigned

**Minimum Job Requirements**
- High School Diploma or GED; may be substituted for relevant experience
- Physical ability to perform essential functions of job with or without reasonable accommodations
- At least one year of previous experience in shipping/receiving role preferred

**Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- At least one year of previous experience directly related to duties/responsibilities specified
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred
- Must be able to understand, maintain, and follow quality and safety standards, procedures, and policies
- Records maintenance skills
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures
- Ability to receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and/or equipment
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to lead, train, and mentor others
- Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers and information (written or verbal)
- Ability to lift and manipulate heavy objects
- Ability to operate forklift and other equipment
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic
- Ability to detect issues, seek solutions, and resolve issues
- Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with management, colleagues, vendors, suppliers, and customers

**Experience**:

- Supervising Experience: 3 years (preferred)
- Automotive or similar Manufacturing Experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Shipping & Receiving Experience: 1 year (preferred)

**Licence/Certification**:

- Forklift License (preferred)
- First Aid Certification (preferred)

**Salary and Benefits**
- Salary: CAD 60,000 - CAD 70,00
