**Location**: Strathroy, Ontario

**Permanent Position**:37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 9am to 5pm, Fridays 9am to 2pm, with flexibility to work more hours during peak seasons

**Key Accountabilities**
- Have a keen interest and basic knowledge of personal financial planning
- Will assist the Senior Financial Planning Assistant in preparing plans to present to clients
- Preparing correspondence and assembling documentation for new and existing accounts using an electronic signature onboarding system
- Assembling required documentation and reports in advance of client meetings;
- Ensure satisfactory resolution of client enquiries and take ownership of coordinating responses with other branches/departments as necessary;
- Have an interest in working with digital client engagement, including newsletter communication, researching and posting relevant financial planning articles to Facebook and Linked-In
- Perform additional administrative duties as required, which may include administrative trade processing support
- Be a self starter, business minded and ready to tackle projects, and be resourceful to find resolutions with mínimal supervision
- Participate fully as a member of the team and contribute to a positive work environment

**Qualifications**
- This position does NOT require you to be licensed through IIROC (Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada), but would be supported in personal growth if interested in obtaining licensing
- Undergraduate Degree or Community College Diploma preferred;
- 2 years of related experience preferred, but not necessary
- Have a well-rounded knowledge of the financial services industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work independently, and effectively with employees and clients at all levels;
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to deal with and meet demanding deadlines in a timely manner, with little control over the volume of work.

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour
