**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver engaging and effective instruction in Diagnostic Medical Sonography courses.
- Provide hands-on training in a lab setting, ensuring students develop strong scanning and patient care skills.
- Mentor students through their practicum experiences and assist in coordinating clinical placements.
- Support students in achieving competency in sonography techniques, safety standards, and ethical practices.
- Assist with program development, curriculum updates, and course design.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clinical sites, industry partners, and accrediting bodies.
- Contribute to clinic accreditation processes and compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide guidance and constructive feedback to students to support their academic and professional growth.
- Collaborate with faculty and administrative staff to enhance the student learning experience.

**Qualifications**
- Must be in **good standing with Sonography Canada** and hold active credentials.
- **Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience** in diagnostic medical sonography.
- Experience in **practicum coordination** or working with students in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience or experience mentoring students is an asset.
- **Experience with clinic accreditation** processes is an asset.
- Strong ability to develop relationships with clinical partners, students, and faculty members.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high educational and ethical standards in sonography.
- An **Adult Education Certification** will be provided if not already obtained.
