Front of House Supervisor

**Summary**
Penny’s Kitchen Diner & Coffeehouse is seeking to hire a Front of House Supervisor, who is a hospitality professional comfortable in a friendly, upscaled casual environment. We are a fast-paced environment with high volume of guests. We are looking for an individual that is passionate about being part of a local community team and cares about the quality of food they serve, service they provide and the community we are a part of.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Lead Server & Barista Role
- Train, Supervise and Manage all front of house employees
- Onboard new employees in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Direct and coordinate all on floor operations during key shifts
- Manage reservations, incoming parties and seating
- Accept and input take-out order
- Perform regular table checks and ensure guest satisfaction
- Liaise with back of house to ensure smooth flow and operations
- Ensure special, shortages and substitutions are communicated
- Maintain necessary stock levels of silverware, napkins and supplies with BOH
- Ensure all cleaning, stocking and side duty tasks are assigned and executed each shift

**Requirements**:

- Must be trainable and a team player.
- Reading, Writing and Speaking in fluent English.
- Must be reliable with dependable transportation. Public transit not available.
- Smart Serve Certified
- Experience with Touch Bistro POS System an asset
- Knowledge of nutrition, portioning, and food allergies.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
