Cobourg, Canada Structural Panels Inc. Full time

We are looking for a reliable and responsible maintenance manager to join our small manufacturing team to oversee all scheduling, repair and upkeep operations of the Structural Panels Inc.’s vehicles and machinery in Baltimore, ON.

The goal is to ensure the company facilities and machinery are well-cared for and adequate to support the company’s business operations.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop maintenance procedures and complete implementation
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues in advance
- Check electrical and hydraulic systems of machines to ensure functionality
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities (forklifts, vacuum lifters, crane, panel machine, brake and shear, etc.)
- Monitor equipment inventory
- Be able to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Be very approachable and proactive in getting tasks completed on time and on budget
- Place and pick up parts orders as needed
- Manage relationships with contractors, suppliers and service providers
- Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities
- Ensure health and safety policies are upheld

**Relevant Experience and Qualifications**
- 2+ years relevant experience in maintenance and repair
- Extensive and intuitive knowledge in a variety of mechanical systems
- Ability to consistently maintain positive relationships with co-workers, suppliers and customers
- Ability to effectively and efficiently handle both administrative and mechanical responsibilities
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite)

**Schedule and Rate of Pay**

This full-time permanent position pays **$25.50-$28.50 per hour to start**, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is also bonus, RSP and benefits eligible upon successful completion of 90-day probation. _Working hours are 8AM-4:30PM, Monday to Friday, no weekends or evenings._
