The Packaging Operator reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for keeping the packaging line running like a well-tended field. They make sure everything's moving efficiently and on schedule. This hardworking individual is hands-on with the feed process, making sure everything meets the quality standards and all the paperwork's taken care of. They're also trained in multiple roles, including mixin' it up as a mixer operator. And when the mixer operators are out, they step up and hold it down during different shifts and intervals.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

- Packaging of product;
- Working to quality standards, and following SOP’s;
- Completes all paperwork required for assigned tasks;
- Maintains general housekeeping of work area;
- Endeavours to be productive at all times.

**PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA**:

- Grade 12 or equivalent;
- Willingness and ability to learn;
- Conscientious and thorough;
- Strong team and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work 7.5 hour rotational shifts; and 12.5 hour shifts
- Must be able to lift 25kg;
- Positive work ethic and attitude.
- Previous manufacturing experience is an asset
