Momenta Inc., located in Treaty One Territory, Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking a passionate and energetic Instructor who believes in outdoor education and learning outside. This role calls for a confident individual willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions, enjoys regular interaction with others, and is highly organized.

Instructors deliver experiential education programs, outdoor education, adventure sports (biking, hiking, cross-country skiing and canoeing), and forest school activities. They attend team meetings and training sessions and work with at least one other team member during programs. Instructors adhere to all policies and procedures, communicate exceptionally well, and ensure high-quality programming. They are willing and confident to complete administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Certificate or degree in education, outdoor education, adventure education, or other related field.
- Forest School Practitioner Certificate, Advanced Wilderness First Aid Certification, and PaddleCanada Instructor Certification are assets. Training can be completed at Momenta during the first yearof employment.
- Experience delivering outdoor education programs.
- Exceptional communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Experience driving with a trailer is an asset.
- Confidence and experience leading hiking, biking, cross-country ski and canoeing programs.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)
