**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a detail-oriented **Quoting Specialist** to join our team. In this role, you will analyze customer RFQs (Request for Quotes), prepare competitive quotes, and ensure accurate costing for CNC-machined parts. Your expertise will be crucial in driving our business growth and maintaining customer satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review and interpret technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications provided by customers.
- Analyze material requirements, machining processes, labor, and other cost factors to prepare detailed quotes.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to ensure feasibility and accuracy of quotes.
- Research and negotiate pricing for materials, subcontracted processes, and tooling as needed.
- Maintain a database of historical quotes, material costs, and vendor pricing for reference.
- Communicate effectively with customers to clarify requirements and provide updates.
- Stay updated on industry trends, machining techniques, and cost optimization strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in quoting or estimating within a CNC machine shop or a related manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Familiarity with CNC machining processes, materials, tooling, and manufacturing workflows.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate costing.
- Proficiency in quoting software and/or ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Degree or certification in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience with CAD software for reviewing 3D models.
- Knowledge of material standards and heat treatment processes.

Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
