Barber Apprentice

Upper Management Group is a group of companies headquartered in South Etobicoke (427&QEW area). Successfully managed several businesses within the Barbering Industry. The Upper Management Group experience is a mixture of traditional barbering blended with modern-day styles and techniques, which when properly executed by our industry-leading professional barbers has clients becoming raving fans. It leads to high customer satisfaction, increased client retention as well as long-term success. These services include a traditional barber cut, style and fade. Complimented by Hot Towel Shaves, beard trims and line ups. Simply an experience that has customers coming back for more. We are not a traditional barbershop nor do we cater to walk-in clients, instead we provide our services through a large partnering network of barbershops in the Greater Toronto Area. We support the industry with barbers and barbering services at corporate events, trade shows, television, film, private functions, weddings and other special events.

We are looking to hire four new barbering apprentices for full-time and permanent employment.

1. Immediate opening for people looking or interested in becoming a barber apprentice.

2. The training and development are provided by us to enhance and/or build your skills.

3. Having experience is a plus, but it is not necessary as we will provide full professional hands-on training at the highest standards.

4. Great industry, permanent and full-time employment.

5. The expected starting pay is a base salary of $18/hour + tips.

6. Preference is given to those who are not currently employed as we are trying to help with awarding employment to those in the greatest need.

**The requirements for the job include**:
1. Excellent people skills. In other words, customer service focused. Must be able to listen, be attentive and have the ability to build a connection with the people you are servicing.

2. Must be Fluent in English with having good communication skills.

3. Must be able to work independently as well as be part of a strong team environment.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
