- Implement care plans developed by healthcare professionals to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Assist with medication administration as directed by healthcare providers.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks as needed.
- Provide support for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or autism.
- Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely when assisting clients with mobility challenges.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

**Skills**
- Proficiency in Italian is essential for effective communication with clients and families.
- First aid and CPR certification are preferred to ensure safety during care provision.
- Experience in group homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes is highly desirable.
- Strong patient observation skills to detect changes in health status promptly.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility or transfers.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
- Familiarity with caregiving practices related to senior care, home health, hospice care, and long-term care experience.
- Skills in cooking and meal preparation tailored to meet dietary needs of clients.
- Experience in developing care plans that cater to individual client requirements.
