**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conduct foot patrols as required and physically check gate security as required.
- CTPAT inspections on inbound/outbound trucks
- Supporting the gatehouse during rush hour periods
- Open ups, lock ups, equipment checks as required.

- Check paperwork and identification of drivers coming into the site.
- Inspect under incoming trucks as per the Standard Operating Procedures
- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures for reporting, and dealing with incidents when applicable
- Carrying out duties while maintaining excellent standards of customer care
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and investigating.

**Experience and Qualifications**:

- ** Valid Security Guard Licence**:

- ** Valid Ontario Driver's Licence**:

- Valid First Aid / CPR certificate
- Must be able to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of time.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to complete daily logs and write detailed reports.
- Basic computer skills
- ** Must have your own transportation to and from work location.**
