**Who are we?**

We are a wholesale bakery and pastry company that started our family business in 2004. Sweet Art Bakery’s founder, James Kotobi, was trained at Le Cordon Bleu institute several decades ago when he lived in France. He had his Café in Paris that he and his wife managed for several years before moving to Canada. In 2004, he opened his cafe in North Vancouver called Sweet Art Bakery Café, which offered European-style pastries. James decided to expand his business to wholesale when Wholefoods opened it’s first store in BC and came to him asking to showcase the sweets from his café. We now sell our products to major retailers such as wholefoods, Save-on-Foods, T&T Supermarkets, IGA, Fresh St. Market, Nesters Market, Choices Markets, and many other retailers across BC.

**Main Responsibilities**:
As a Chocolatier at Sweet Art Bakery, you will:

- Be tempering, moulding, dipping, and decorating chocolate.
- Create a variety of chocolate confections, such as chocolate cookies, chocolate hedgehogs and more.
- Be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing your work stations.
- Baking cookies, florentine and marzipan items.
- Packaging chocolate items.

**Job Requirements**:

- Experience isn't necessary but is an asset.
- Good organizational skills, friendly and positive attitude.
- Being responsible and committed to your work and time.
- Passionate about your work.
- Must be punctual and can multitask.
- Must pay attention to details.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Constant use of both hands
- Continuous standing/walking
