Cafe Facilitator

**Job Summary**

**About Blob Café**:
Blob Café celebrates neurodivergent individuals in our community and is brought to life with love and passion. This café serves as an extension of the Autism In Mind Children's Charity, where youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) receive training in job skills and look forward to working here in the future.

**Responsibilities**
- Open the café and prepare for daily operations.
- Manage inventory, handle shopping, and ensure supplies are well-stocked.
- Plan and create seasonal menus, promotions, and weekly sales strategies.
- Prepare lunches and menu items as needed.
- Organize and coordinate café-related events and seasonal decorations (e.g., Halloween, Christmas).
- Train new staff as necessary and provide ongoing support.
- Independently manage and oversee the café’s operations.
- Promote the café to the public through creative marketing and outreach efforts.
- Maintain cleanliness, ambiance, and ensure an excellent customer experience.

**Requirements**:

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Creativity in menu planning, event coordination, and promotions.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the café’s success.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Passion for creating a welcoming and vibrant café atmosphere.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in café or restaurant management.
- Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
- Familiarity with marketing and promotional strategies.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 28 per week
