As Ross continues to enhance its software licensing and commercial experience, we are looking for a Product Manager, Licensing to lead the transformation of our commerce strategy to a digital-first approach.
In this role, you will take ownership of Ross Video’s licensing ecosystem, evolving it into a seamless, self-service, digital-first platform. Your products will fuel recurring revenue growth through a delightful customer experience, enabling new upsell opportunities and allowing our customers to better leverage their existing investment in Ross products and solutions. By streamlining licensing and eCommerce, you will drive business growth while enhancing customer satisfaction and engagement.
You will work cross-functionally to drive the expansion and modernization of our in-house software licensing services, customer portal, support integrations, and marketplace initiatives. You will act as a bridge between product management, sales operations, IT and engineering teams to ensure a frictionless experience for our customers.

**What the job is all about**:

- Define and execute the Ross Licensing and eCommerce product strategy, optimizing the customer journey, self-service capabilities, conversion rates, and customer engagement
- Lead the evolution of Ross Video's licensing system into a comprehensive, self-service, digital-first eCommerce platform
- Enhance and expand in-house software-based licensing services, driving scalability, automation, and operational efficiency
- Conduct extensive user research, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking to define and continuously deliver the best possible licensing and eCommerce experience
- Act as the Product Owner for the licensing engineering team, ensuring that the backlog is well-prioritized and that product requirements, goals, and outcomes are clearly defined and understood by the team
- Collaborate closely with internal product groups, engineering, sales, UX, and business teams to gather licensing requirements for various product lines. These requirements will vary significantly, and you must ensure the final solution is flexible enough to accommodate all needs
- Work with cross-functional teams to support and optimize multiple licensing business models, across on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments
- Explore strategies to deliver an in-house digital marketplace for software, services, and third-party integrations to drive incremental revenue.
- Lead the design and implementation of a customer portal with integrated support, helpdesk, and self-service capabilities
- Identify, establish, and manage relationships with key commercial partners to expand Ross Video's digital ecosystem
- Leverage BI, analytics, and AI-driven insights to refine eCommerce strategy and customer engagement

**Who you are**:

- 5+ years in a product management or product ownership role
- Strong leadership through influence, driving alignment across engineering, sales, and business operations
- Strong business acumen with the ability to balance technical product management and revenue growth strategies
- Experience in an Agile development environment, working closely with engineering teams to define, refine, prioritize, and deliver high-impact features
- Experience in B2B or B2C eCommerce platforms, ideally within software licensing or digital products
- Proven track record of conducting user research, analyzing customer needs, and shaping product strategy based on market insights
- Strong ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, gathering requirements from diverse product groups, engineerin
