Our Brand + Marketing team is looking for a Brand Engagement Manager to make a big impact on the Earls consumer experience, both in store and online. This is a unique role that requires multiple skill sets as you lead all things Menu Design, Paid Media, and our website, as well as supporting promotions and content strategy/execution. This exciting opportunity comes with 2 direct reports and holds a lot of autonomy when it comes to the projects they will lead. Collaboration is also key in this role, working directly with the entire Brand + Marketing team, as well as the Tech team, Menu Production team, and our external Brand agency.

**Please note**: This individual will need to be based in Lower Mainland, BC.

**ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Marketing & Communication Planning**
- You will be responsible for contributing to the annual marketing plan for your initiatives, and driving the company’s efforts to achieve aggressive growth and profitability.
- You will develop communications plans for specific projects that deliver on our business objectives specifically focusing on our Paid Media strategy and Menus.
- You will be responsible for finding the most effective way to communicate key messages to the widest audience.
- You will build your strategies off of consumer insights, competitive industry knowledge and trends in design, tech, culinary and culture.
- You will work with internal partners to gain insights to inform your plans, sometimes in a collaborative working session.

**Brand Equity**
- You will contribute to brand strategy bringing new thinking to increasing brand relevancy and differentiate us from the competition.
- You will develop creative briefs and key messages that build the brand and deliver on our business objectives.
- You will evaluate creative against the brand strategy and the brief.
- You will ensure consistency across all brand touchpoints and act as an internal brand ambassador for a cohesive brand look and feel.

**Menu Design & Production**
- You will lead all Menu design working closely with key stakeholders, our external agency, and internal menu team.
- You will be responsible for proactively ensuring that our menu design is best in class and works across different market needs.
- You will oversee all aspects of our physical menus from ordering to quantities to quality to rollout. Working closely with the Menu Production team who leads printing and distribution.
- You will ensure our menus are represented properly and read well on our website. You will proactively drive any innovation to better the guest experience.
- You will be responsible for all menu inserts from strategy to design to execution.

**Paid Media**
- You will work closely with the team to understand business needs from a Paid Media perspective.
- You will lead the strategy and plan for Paid Media.
- You will execute Paid media and ensure the creative developed by the team is as effective as possible.
- You will be responsible for the Paid Media budget and ensuring it’s as efficient and effective as possible.
- You will bring innovative ideas to the team around paid and partnerships.
- You will develop / oversee KPIs for all campaigns and deliver complete reporting post campaigns.

**Website**
- You will be responsible for ensuring that our website is best in class.
- You will ensure the content is accurate and relevant.
- You will work with the Director of Brand Engagement on the strategy of what is communicated on the website
- You will ensure the menus on our website are a great customer experience and compel people to visit Earls.
