**Job Title: Liquor Store Cashier**
Location: Vancouver, BC

We are looking for a friendly and reliable individual to join our team as a Liquor Store Sales Associate. This role is crucial for providing exceptional customer service, assisting with product selection, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

**Responsibilities**:
Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly, assist them in finding products, and offer recommendations based on their preferences.
Sales & Promotion:
Generate sales by engaging with customers, suggesting new products, and promoting in-store specials.
Cash Handling:
Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
Merchandising:
Stock shelves, maintain product displays, and ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
Inventory Management:
Assist with inventory control, including receiving shipments, rotating stock, and monitoring product levels.
Age Verification:
Verify customer identification and ensure compliance with all age-related regulations.

**Qualifications**:
Customer Service Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Cash Handling: Experience with cash register operation and cash handling procedures.
Product Knowledge: Some knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits is an asset.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift cases of product.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Age Requirement: Must be at least 19 years old.
Serving it Right: Possession of a Serving it Right certificate is preferred, but may be required upon hiring.
