**Floyd's Diner**, home of the famous Mahoney, is hiring for the following kitchen positions & locations:
**Gorge (123 Gorge Rd E)**
- 1 x FT/PT Cook 1 ($21/hr)
- 1 x PT Cook 2 ($19/hr)

**Daily Duties**:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions provided by the head chef
- Cook food items according to established standards and plating guides
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with meal preparation and plating as needed
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations (Food Safe Level 1)
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week
