Our Personal Support Workers provide care and support to patients in long-term care facilities. We are looking for PSW's that are passionate about what they do and are looking for new opportunities.

Personal Support Worker

Job summary:

- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living
- Helping clients with personal hygiene such as bathing, washing, dressing, grooming etc.
- Performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning and tidying the client’s room or house, changing sheets, and doing laundry
- Helping clients with their medication and ensuring they take it as per instructions
- Planning and preparing meals according to specific dietary requirements
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients by spending time with them
- Turning, lifting, and positioning clients that require mobility assistance
- Reporting and documenting client concerns, incidents, and progress notes
- Maintain a professional attitude and demeanor.

Part-time hours: 12-40 per week

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: Up to $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Scarborough, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- PSW: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- PSW Certificate (preferred)
- Vulnerable Sector Check (preferred)
- TB Test (preferred)
