We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to help lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our store.

What you will be getting:

**Duties**
- Helping to manage all aspects of store operations including inventory management, merchandising, and sales strategies,
- Receiving, merchandising & restocking shelves with products,
- Maintain high standards of customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly,
- Offering Treats to the Furry Friends that come in to make sure the Love their Visit each and every time,
- Supervise and train staff, ensuring effective employee orientation and ongoing development & ensuring policies and procedures are followed,
- Opening & closing your location,
- Utilize point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions while ensuring efficient cashiering practices.
- Making sure the store is clean and organized,

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in retail management with a focus on pet care or related industries preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Proficient in administrative tasks including budgeting, scheduling, and time management.
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques, stocking procedures, and sales strategies.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining financial integrity.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of store management.
- Must be available during evening, weekends and days
- Ability to repetitively lift 40lbs
- Experience in training & development programs to enhance employee performance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.85 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 40 per week
