**Job Summary**

Position: permanent, full-time

Compensation: 52,000 to 65,000 annually (To be negotiated) / 40 to 50 hours per Week

**Duties**
- Professionalism in customer service
- Load and unload goods
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

**CredentialsCertificates, licences, memberships, and courses**
- Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)

**Experience and specializationDocumentation knowledge**
- Accident or incident reports
- Driver logbook
- Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip)
- Trip reports

**Type of trucking and equipment**
- Tractor-trailer

**Communication systems experience**
- Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment

- Long-haul
