Vancouver, Canada Century Plaza Hotel Full time

The **Century Plaza Hotel** in Downtown Vancouver is seeking full time a **Hotel Maintenance Person.**

**EXAMPLES OF DUTIES**:

- Repairing door locks and doors
- General repairs to hotel room equipment and amenities
- Basic Troubleshooting of phones, TV and other hotel room fixtures and appliances
- Basic electrical including changing light fixtures, light bulbs
- Basic troubleshooting of AC units
- Basic plumbing duties; changing sink and tub faucets, drains, toilets and troubleshooting repairing leaks
- Other general duties such as shoveling snow, unclogging drains etc.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
BASIC PLUMBING KNOWLEDGE IS A MUST.

For this position, we require someone who:

- Is attentive, proactive, reliable and efficient;
- Is a good listener and is good at taking directions;
- Behaves in a respectful, confidential matter when on site;
- Has a friendly personality and good communication skills;
- Is capable of identifying issues and finding solutions;
- Is able to work well without supervision;
- Is able to communicate fluently in the English language;
- Is legally entitled to work in Canada;
- Has weekday daytime availability.
