**Overview**

Reporting to the site foreman, the general construction laborer is responsible for performing various tasks to assist in the day-to-day operations of a construction site. Tasks include loading and unloading tools or materials and digging trenches throughout the construction process.

- **Hold a Valid Driver’s License (Class 5F) & drivers abstract (acceptable)**:

- Ability to operate required tools & equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Effective verbal and listening communications skills
- Time management and good attendance records
- Previous landscaping or construction experience, which could include working around utilities, concrete work, asphalt work

**Responsibilities**

As an NLU employee, you play a very important role, as you are responsible for the efficiency of each project and that it is carried out professionally and to the required quality standards. Throughout your career at No Limits Underground you will be responsible for:

- Perform physically demanding laboring functions required for various areas, such as but not limited to shovelings, trimming, weeding, spraying and cleaning worksite preparation and set-up, worksite take-down and clean-up
- Operate light-duty vehicles such as pickup trucks, forklifts, and skid steers as needed
- Move materials and equipment and perform excavation/compaction duties
- Conduit and cable installations
- Handle and distribute construction materials
- Provide labor support to other workers such as our drillers and hydro-vac operators as needed
- Follow established safe work practices, operating policies, and procedures

**Work Conditions**:

- Could be required to work overtime
- Required to work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
- Intensive labor Working
