KEY HOLDER / FRONT COUNTER SERVER (full time)

**The Key Holder is responsible for gaining sales, serving customers food and beverages, restocking the front of house, clearing customers plates/tidying the restaurant and cleaning duties. They need to have a friendly smile and engaging attitude with an excellent eye for detail. They are to be an example of excellent customer service and how to follow the policies and procedures of Peaked Pies. They are to oversee closing of the store and attend to the cash out in the absence of a Supervisor or Restaurant Manager.**

**Main Responsibilities**:
To be the best example of a Front Counter Server

To ensure product levels are adequate for the time of day

To complete cash out and closing duties, reporting discrepancies to the Manager

**Duties in detail**:
Customer Service

Multitasking when busy; putting together orders while communicating with other team members of any issues, baking pies, making toppings, addressing out of stock items.

Bussing the restaurant, especially during busy times to ensure customers always have a place to sit and enjoy their meal

Constant inventory control of pies and toppings to ensure stocks are adequate for the time of day

Baking more pies if necessary, and cooking mashed potato, mushy peas and gravy, or asking the kitchen staff to make if customers needs to be served.

Flexibility to work both mornings and evenings

Evenings includes cleaning the store thoroughly and diligently

Washing up dishes throughout the day, keeping the store clean and tidy including outdoor patio area

Restocking all Front Of House items as needed, notifying Supervisor of any items out of stock.

Running the cash out report after close. Entering all details accurately, noting discrepancies and following up with the Restaurant Manager

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
