**KRA Role Description**

**Title**:
**Supply Chain Manager**

**Position Purpose**: The Supply Chain Manager will provide strategic oversight and direction for the supply management process and will define mid to long-term, global supply strategies that support OPIsystems Inc. product roadmap and business direction. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for Outsourcing and/or insourcing manufacturing, working with global supply in import and export regulations, budget management.

**Key Result Area #1**:
**Manage Supply Chain to assure uninterrupted availability**

**Tasks & Activities**:
Develop in country strategies for difficult to access parts

Evolve OPI Strategy in post-harvest to market supply chain solutions

Partner with complimentary suppliers to deliver full customer requirements and experience

Manage the purchasing and inventory of raw materials, selection of vendors

Ensure warehouse is designed and staffed properly in line with future requirements for volume, handling, storage, shipping and value-added service.

Work with internal resources to improve/optimize use of ERP demand planning and SCM tools

**Key Result Area #2**:
**Managing Supply Chain to optimize cost**

Work with Global supply in import/export regulatory

Make product vs contract build analysis

Value add analysis from Contract Manufacturers

Work with engineering to design difficult to procure parts out of BOM’s

Work with engineering

**Key Result Area #3**:
**Manage product life Cycle and from New product introduction to End of Life**

**Tasks & Activities**:
Work with Engineering to ensure seamless migration of hardware products from design to volume manufacturing.

Building and influencing both internal and external relationships by being a strong team player

Facilitate the introduction of new product lines or revisions of old products into OPI’s supply chain channel

Work Engineering and Production for EOL and risk mitigation for obsolete material

**Education Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, and/or technical field. Advanced degree such as MBA preferred. CPM, CPSM or related designation required

**Qualifications**:

- Strong working knowledge of Supply Chain management principles, ERP, transport routing software and Lean implementation.
- Minimum of 10 - 15 years of technical procurement / contract management experience
- Strong qualification and experience procuring electronic components
- Strong experience working with contract manufacturers and existing relationships with electronic suppliers
- Experience in Master Service Agreements
- Highly effective inter-personal, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Results and solutions focused
- Confident, articulate and able to influence at all levels with exceptional leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Project Management experience and proven ability to lead and manage complex projects within timeline and budgetary constraints across all areas.
- Broad knowledge of P&L, Balance sheet and ROI.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- supply chain: 3 years (required)
- Technical procurement: 10 years (preferred)
