Envirogreen Technologies Ltd. Contaminated Waste Treatment Facility is located approximately 20 KM Southwest of Princeton, B.C. V0X 1W0.

Envirogreen Technologies Ltd. (ETL) is an established waste management company, leading the way in the treatment of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes. Our permitted hazardous waste treatment facility located outside of Princeton, BC, utilizes thermal desorption technology to treat a wide range of industrial waste and contaminated soil.

ETL is looking for a motivated Site Laborer with proven experience to join our team.

The Site Labourer works under the direction of the Designated Supervisor and any assigned Supervisors and works with other employees within the company to ensure safe work practices and policies, compliances and regulations are adhered. The Site Labourer will be required to perform various tasks involving physical labour at the Work Site.

Main responsibilities will include; site and plant cleanup, inspections, mechanical maintenance work, heavy equipment operation, assist plant and equipment operators.

The Site Labourer will work closely with facility staff to create a positive and safe working environment, be a resource to management and facility staff for health and safety information and promote health and safety programs in the workplace.
- Minimum Education: High School or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience as a Labourer.
- License: Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Air Brake Endorsement would be an asset.
- Language: English.
- Support and promote safety and health projects and initiatives.
- Facility cleanup.
- Daily plant cleanup and inspection.
- Daily mechanical maintenance and servicing of the plant.
- Maintenance duties during shut down periods.
- Operate water truck and pump for site dust control.
- Assist Plant Operator (as required).
- Mechanical assistance (as required).
- Heavy equipment operation i.e. Skid-steer loader / forklift / aerial platform.
- Complete pre/post inspections on all tools and equipment.
- Confined Space Attendant duties.
- Fire Watch duties.
- General labour duties as required.
- Participate in required training programs including, but not limited to, WHMIS, TDG, confined space entry and rescue, fall protection, fire extinguisher use, first aid, mobile equipment awareness, aerial work platform, etc.
- Other duties, as assigned.
- This safety-sensitive position must be filled immediately. Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required for this safety-sensitive position as immediate site access is required.

Salary Range: $23.00 to $25.00/Hour

Employee will be under an AVG Agreement with Overtime. The Bi weekly wages may range between $1972.25 to $2143.75 depending on the hours worked.

PPE allowance of $300.00 for work boots and specialized clothing allowance of$150.00.

RRSP eligibility after one year and matching contributions to DPSP by the Company.

Monthly production bonuses.

Princeton, one of the sunniest places in BC, sits at the junction of the Similkameen and Tulameen rivers in the South Okanagan, East of the Cascades. The mountains, valleys, and hundreds of kilometers of backcountry roads are a beautiful natural setting for year-round outdoor activities. The rivers and lakes are excellent for tubing, kayaking, swimming or trout fishing. The nearby Kettle Valley Rail Trail is great for hiking and cycling.

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
